God is so good all the time and life is so good. Sometimes it takes hard times to prove this to yourself

This has been a great day as my daughter Jamie reminded me that it had been exactly 2 years to the day that I had my diagnosis and urgent intervention. It has gone by so quickly with all the struggles, treatments, travel, decesions, challenges and special times with the Lord Jesus Christ. I rarely want to miss a church service as the word and singing and music so ministers to my spirit and soul. The friends close and far are so special for their continued prayers and support in calls, cards, notes and prayers have sustained me. It is a shame it takes such a dramatic blow to get one to completely rely on the Lord Jesus and know how close, comforting and all sustaining He is. I've learned how to love and adore Christ and dthat has been worth it all. Sometimes if I get a little down I will dig out some of the cards and letters my friends and supporters have sent. They all get saved in special places so I can retrieve them and remind me how good my friends and God's people are and continue to be.. Please keep up the prayers and occasional calls or cards as it is such a blessing. An e-mail would be special as well at jwhogin@aol.com. I remember the times I would hear the lawn mowers running outside as friends just came over and did what was necessary without being asked and all the answered prayers that I am aware of and continue to see little by little. I believe the Lord will completely heal me I'm just going through the process. All true learning and accomplishments are a process and it takes this to make them so special. Everything now is clear on my scans and I believe that will continue as I will get MRI's every 4-6 months and maybe some additional booster vaccines from UCLA. I will send them a biunch of blood every so often whenever they tell me ad this keeps me in the program and they want to check up on me. fortunately a lot of this can be done here in OKC.The Lord says all things work together for good to those who the called according to His purpose. It is my prayer you are one of them. Dr Jim and Linda

This has been a special day of reflection since my daughter Jamie told me it has been exactly 2 years since your diagnosis and urgent treatment. These last 2 years have raced by with all it's challenges, traveling, struggles, varied treatments and an unbelieveable relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. I don't know why it sometimes takes such a sudden and devestating blow to get one to the point that it proves how much the Lord loves you, sustains and comforts you and during this time find out who your real close friends are and how important it is to hear from so many and be on so many hearts and prayer lists. Cards, letters and phone calls are so important and the occasional call from those who ckeck up on me are so encouraging and comforting. Sometimes they even pray for me on the phone. You are so special to me and I love you. Dr Jim

I am so blessed with so much great support and the presence of the Lord is so real. After getting back from UCLA and the series of 3 vaccines where I went every two weeks. That was so stressful and expensive but it was a God ordained path. I recently visited my oncologist and an MRI was scheduled and completed and great news I still have a brain and the results were great. I was so pumped on hearing this and I will send these results to UCLA and lots of blood about every two months. I'm also having to restart chemo until the end of the year so I'm getting mentally ready for this and I start tonight. It makes you sun sensative which is not to good for the summer, nauseate and constipated. I've learned how to fix these frustrations. Please keep up the prayers as it is working and the Lord is so real and close. God bless all of you.. Luv Dr Jim
