The last attempt was lost and I have more trouble getting this sight to stay up so I can try to maintain connection. my recent MRI last week was clear so taht is great news and I get to stay off the chemotherapy which is such a blessing as I didn't realize what a ball and chain that was on me all the time and making one feel lousy. So I'll get MRI's about ever 4 months and get to go to UCLA in July 8-9. I try to get in and out of that place as soon as possible. Calif. is getting more and more strange and their Supreme Court isn't helping. The other main thing in our home is my Wife Linda had bunion surgery lst week so she is moving very slowly and I get to be Mr Mom most of the time. The few girls at home are of some help. The wife is such a valuable possesion at home and sometimes it takes them being out of the picture to make one realize the blessings they truly are how they hold the whole house together. Life is good, need prayers for some business decisions. God bless you Dr Jim and Linda

May 19,2008 It is also 3 years since this battle has begin and it truly is the fellowship of His sufferings that brings you so close to the Lord. It is during these times that you truly feel the presence of the Lord and how close He can be to you. Unless you have been there you can not really understand this except in concept. Since I was only given 5-6 months to live it is one more example of :
What do doctors know? They can only play the odds and give you the percentages. There is an apponted time to die and one friend says we are invincable until that time. I don't think we should push the laws of nature however. Good news on the recent MRI that is clear and even some crummy sinus issues are better but not resolved. Other issues in our household are my wife Linda had to have bunion surgery the other day so she is getting around very slowly so I am being Mr Mom and fortunately the girls are of some help. Two of the girls traveled to California to visit Kerry and I was glad to see them return safely and they had a great short trip.
