It has been an incredible week with the whole family being here for the birth and arrival of our first grandchild. I am so pumped and full when I look at her and especially when I get to hold and love on her. I got to watch the C-Section and be in on the first cry, and shortly the dad and I were also crying at this joyous moment. Tonight I have just loved on her and got to do some homework when others took their turn spoiling. I also got great news as my MRI came back clear and I believe the Lord has chase that monster away for good. It was sad to see the oldest daughter leave to go back to school in San Francisco but she arrived safely and it was a joy to have her here that week as she is so close to Jessica(mother). Baby has first doctor visit in AM with my good friend Dr Al Harvey a pediatrition and a good one. I am so incredibly blessed and my heart is overflowing with joy. God bless all of you. Dr Jim

At times life is so overwhelming good it is hard to take it all in. Wity such a great week in LA and great time there and returning to a new baby girl that was born lst night April 13 at 6:36 pm all 6lb 10 ounces of loud noise and 20 inches long. It was a C-Section so the baby is so pretty but mommy Jessica is kind of sore. The new joy is named Elley and hope to bring her home in a few days when mom is up and around better. Dad Bobby Chapa and family are also very excited and they have bought a small house that will need some fixing but that is part of the journey. I feel so incrediblity blessed and so many wonderful people and friends of my daughter were present to be such an encouragement. Life is so good and so is the Lord. Love the Hogins
